Emitt Rhodes (born Emitt Lynn Rhodes on 25 February 1950; died 19 July 2020) was an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer. Considered by many as "the one man Beatles" whose recordings show a clear Paul McCartney influence in both vocals and musicanship, Rhodes began his career in musical ensembles The Palace Guard (as the group's drummer) and The Merry Go Round (multi-instrumentalist). His album Rainbow Ends was released in 2016, his first album in 43 years.
