At the ripe old age of 12, Emiko had already "retired" from classical music to begin making her mark in pop. Having played piano since she was two and half, Emiko was transforming from classical piano prodigy to rock and roll starlet. Now, flash forward to 2010 when she was signed to a worldwide record deal by Famous Records with distribution through Universal Music Group and you can definitely say that Emiko has earned the title of "lifer" in the music industry.
