When you visit the Texas island town of Galveston, there’s a feeling of relief as you take in the sea spray in the air and the surf on the rocks. Rebirth and resurrection are in the atmosphere. When you look at a band like EL LAGO, rebirth is a great way to see them. Once a group who made starry-eyed dream pop in unhurried washes of reverb, the four piece is ready to explore new visions. After debut album Colors, the band embarked on festival sets and a lengthy tour.
