El Hombre Trajeado (el om-bray trah-kee-ah-doe) was formed in Glasgow by friends RM Hubbert (guitar and mumbling), Stevie Jones (bass) and Stef Sinclair (drums) around the end of 1996. Ben Jones (synths and turntables), brother of Stevie, joined in 1998. They released four LPs, one EP, numerous singles and split-singles and recorded three sessions for John Peel.
