The Brazilian singer-songwriter known as Ednardo (Fortaleza, Ceará, April 17, 1945) is one of the generation of younger Northeastern artists who created a new regional style based on contemporary (1970s) pop and rock, as opposed to the forro and baiao of decades earlier.
