“An outstanding artist” (TAXI A&R) and “gifted songwriter” (The Deli Magazine), Eddie grew up in the Long Island suburbs of New York City, where he often rode the train in to play open mics in the Village. At eighteen a scholarship to Tulane University brought him to New Orleans, where he got his first regular gig as an opening act at uptown rock club Jimmy’s. After a year of writing and studying at the University of Bristol in England, he headed to San Diego to work the acoustic coffeshop scene with a friend.
