In its earliest incarnation, Dredd Foole and the Din was Boston-area native Dan Ireton backed by either Mission of Burma (on the 1982 "Songs In Heat" 7") or Volcano Suns with Kenny Chambers (on the "Eat My Dust, Cleanse My Soul" LP -- originally a radio tape from '84 -- and 1987's "Take Off Your Skin" LP).
