(See also Doctor & the Medics)Unfairly only remembered for their admittedly brilliant cover of "Spirit in the Sky", Doctor and the Medics were one of the Uk's best gigging indie bands of the era. Founded by Clive Jackson (Aka The Doctor) who also recruited Richard Searle and Steve McGuire along with the glamourous Goth twins Wendi and Collette Anadin (aka the Anadin brothers). The Girls also had a brief brush with fame as the dancers in the video for The Cults "Rain".
