Deyshawn Thomas Chapman was born in May of 91’ and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. His stage name, not to be mistaken as an alter ego, is DopeThought. DopeThought is more than an alias, inspired by the theory that dopamine can be released with natural happiness by the power of thought. He fits a self-proclaimed genre of Progressive Hip-Hop which he chooses to release his dopamine through, while spreading a positive message that is relevant to today’s struggling society.
