DJ Disk Concert History

DJ Disk was born and raised in San Francisco, California, as a Panamanian, Columbian, and Nicaraguan Latino. In 1977, Disk was inspired after hearing Kraftwerk on the radio and seeing Star Wars. By the age of 11 he was performing at local shows and competing in DJ battles, helping to spread record-scratching across San Francisco in the 1980s. By the early 1990s, DJ Disk connected with DJ Q-Bert, another local hero, quickly dominating the local DJ scene.
