Diskodiktator was founded as FKK Jugend in 1996 and released some 30 demos before the 2002 debut "We Are...". In 2004 the band released their second debut album "The World According To..." and got nominated for "Best Scandinavian Newcomer" at the 2005 Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards.
