Dirk Zöllner was born in Berlin in 1962. The autodidact started his professional career in 1985 – with his band CHICORÉE. In 1986 he was classified as a professional musician. In 1987 he founded DIE ZÖLLNER, with whom he is still on the road today. In between he started projects like "Zöllners Russenconnection", "Die 3HIGHligen", "Ostende" and "Melancholia". After the turn of the millennium, he took on leading roles in »Jesus Christ Superstar« and »Fame« in Dresden, Munich, Pforzheim and Halle.
