The Desert Sea were a short-lived pop rock group from Boston, MA that formed in 2005. Their shimmery impeccable guitar riffs, washy ebbs and Elvis Costello vocal stylings filled a hole in the Massachusetts music scene until their sudden breakup in April of 2007 on the cusp of commercial success. They recorded several demo songs prior to disbanding but no albums. Members of The Desert Sea have subsequently been involved in other projects including Guilt Parade, Protokol and Old People.
