Dear Atlantic is an indie/alternative band formed in late 2009 in West Haven, Connecticut. The band consists of Kevin Boettger (guitar), Tim Burke (vocals, guitar), D.J. Cormier (drums), and Jon Scranton (bass). Their music is characterized by harmonious guitar parts and simple, accessible melodies, along with subtle vocal harmonies. They reside at the University of New Haven, but are from New Jersey, Massachusetts and Connecticut. They have yet to record much material, but are working on doing so in the upcoming months.
