Day of Lions is Gena Gastaldi and friends. Always a rotating cast of musicians, Day of Lions has an "open door" sort of policy, where if you want to play and have something to add, you're in. This has allowed for an always different and interesting experience, both on records and for live shows. Day of Lions' latest release is a great example of that. With about a dozen friends coming into the studio to add their own musical flair, which included upright bass, piano, organ and various thrift store instruments.
