Dan Zemelman Concert History
Dan Zemelman began at age 5 as a classically trained pianist who then developed a passion for Jazz in his early adulthood. He studied jazz with Richard Davis at the UW Madison and received the 'Best Jazz Artist at UW Madison' award in 1996. In 1998, as part of the Kennedy Center’s prestigious Jazz Ambassadors program, Zemelman toured India and Sri Lanka sponsored by the U.S. State Department, representing America’s jazz tradition through teaching and performance.
