Damn Dirty Apes is a band based in Penang, Malaysia. They have self-released an EP "Valve State Dreams" in 2002 and were hailed as “Malaysia’s Mogwai” who too often delved in the soft/loud/soft formula. This also sent countless kids onto the stage who shaped the post-rock scene in Malaysia today.
