THE CRUSTACEANS began as Toby, Vijay and Owen. Three school friends who met at university, they started playing in lounge rooms and back-gardens in late 2001. There were question marks all over the band. Was playing a show whilst screening Casablanca with the sound down really a success? And what was in that drink bottle Toby was always nursing?
