Crowcuss Concert History

A Winnipeg, Manitoba band whose original members included Greg Leskiw and Bill Wallace of The Guess Who, Crowcuss began in 1974 as a Jazz Fusion outfit called Mood Jga Jga. Leskiw eventually tired of touring and left the band before the name change and signing to Edmonton, Alberta label; Stony Plain Records. Label boss Holger Petersen financed a full-length album at Mushroom Studios in Vancouver, the same studio as era legends Heart, Chilliwack, and Doucette, and hired producer Keith Stein whose credits include Trooper, Prism, and Loverboy.
