Crooks and Children formed in Chicago during the summer of 2006, though this independent group met in Madison Wisconson years prior. Each member of the band performs as a multi-instrumentalist both on recordings and during live shows. Crooks and Children uses guitars, organs, acoustic piano, percussion, lap steel, trumpet, mandolin, violin, synthesizers, samplers etc... to form an ever-changing instrumental atmosphere. Crooks and Children released their first self titled EP in the summer of 2007...
