Originally named “the Rumrunners” Crooked Coast was formed with out any forethought or practice in the summer of 2011. Made up of Charles Parker, Luke Vose and Ben Elder the trio quickly formed to play an informal weekly gig at mexican restaurant in Woods Hole MA. The Songs and band identity quickly formed at a relaxed but surprising pace. Bridging styles from punk to reggae to hip hop and country naturally, in the tradition of bands like the Clash and Police.
