Countermeasure is a fourteen-person, Toronto-based, semiprofessional a cappella group. Conceived in spring 2010 and holding its first auditions in the following September, its concept was to provide an alternative opportunity for vocalists who were looking for something a little different from the collegiate or community choir scenes. Their signature sound is the challenging, genre-defying arrangements by artistic director and local virtuoso Aaron Jensen (of Cadence)...
