Cooker was the stage name of Norman Desrosiers, who in the 60's was the lead singer/harpist for the psychedelic rock band, The Groupies. After The Groupies broke up, Cooker embarked on a solo career, and in 1974 he released his only album, "Bout Time", on Scepter Records. The single from that album, "Try (Try To Fall In Love)", peaked at #80 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
