Matt Dennewitz released indie folk and noise under the name Compiler from 1999-2004, culminating in multiple compilation appearances and two EPs on Datawaslost: 2000's 'Nothing Ever Fits Like It Should' and 2003's 'I Guess That It's Time That I Go'. He now records music as Blackbear, and plays guitar in Coltrane Motion.
