Clarabelle (or Clara) is a singer/songwriter from Urbana, Illinois. Her newer material is simple stripped down folk with a dashing taste of punk rock attitude. And all the while shining through the socially and politically aware lyrics. She fronted the punk band The Cockblocks, playing guitar and doing half (if not most) of the singing duties. Her new record, "Anthemica EP", is due out on Poison Taco Records (based out of Urbana, Illinois) May 16th, 2008.
