Cipes and the People was formed in late 2006 by lead singer and songwriter, Greg Cipes. The band has been delivering strong messages of peace, positivity, love, and unity throughout their run as a band. Their music is categorized as reggae, but is actually a unique blend of that, hip-hop, and rock. At one point, Cipes was a member of the MTV television show, Twenty-Four Seven, a short run series. This show gave his fan base a startling jump from 350 people, to over 61 thousand.
