Born and raised in Toronto, Chxrry22's passion for music traces back to her childhood when she sang at birthday parties and weddings, following the footsteps of her parents, who both sang in a choir. In 2017, her self-recorded song covers posted to social media quickly went viral, landing her a deal with XO Records, becoming the first female artist to join The Weeknd's creative group.
