Like Terrell Carter, independent artist Christian Keyes' claim to fame is by way of Tyler Perry's plays. Mr. Keyes is neo-soul man, vocally the equivalent of other major artists like Kenny Lattimore, D'Angelo and Maxwell. Some of his songs have an autobiographical tone to them, especially the melancholy "Woe is Me", from his cd, DAY BY DAY.
