Chris Wallbank & The Cowards are a band from Wolverhampton, England. Chris Wallbank formed the band after leaving the previous band he had formed, Ripchord (who are now signed to 1965 Records). The band has a wide variety of musical influences including Irish folk, the early twentieth century music hall and britpop which has made the band appeal to a wide range of fans both young and old. Chris Wallbank writes the songs and plays acoustic guitar, with Pav Janda on lead, Leigh 'The Lad' Barton .
