Chris Perez band is a Grammy winning trio around John Garza, Joe Ojeda and Chris Pérez. In 1999, Resurrection, the first album recorded by Pérez’s newly created band, won a Grammy award in the category of Alternative Latin Rock. Now, after signing with a new record label, Univision Music, the group is launching its second album, Chris Pérez Band, Una Noche Mas, with more ballads and cumbias, and sung mostly in Spanish. “This is a lot different,” he says.
