Cheri Knight Concert History

Cheri Knight is a singer-songwriter who should be much better known than she is. A founder member in the late '80s (along with Jimmy Ryan and Mark Spencer) of the roots-rock band Blood Oranges, she fronted some of the most memorable songs on their two albums Corn River (1990) and The Crying Tree (1994). When the band split she went solo and released two classic american-folk-rock albums, The Knitter (1995), and Northeast Kingdom (1997) - the latter produced by Steve Earle and featuring duets with Emmylou Harris.
