Castle Grey Skull was founded by four young guys from Fort Frances, a small town in northwestern Ontario (pop.9000). After Marc Lovisa (drums) left Tugnut, he immediately began forming a new band. Gathering up Jordan Vandetti (guitar), Adam Foley (bass), and Andrew Mueller (guitar), the foursome started writing. The band decided to move to Vancouver, BC to pursue their music further. A few local shows later and the band got into contact with Vancouver company Blackskyline.
