Casamatta was formed in Moscow in 2016, when the duo of guitarists Ramazan Kashipov and Igor Plyska was brought to its full strength with the drummer Kirill Kiryanov, bass-guitarist Sergey Sergeyev and vocalist Ivan Lavrentyev.
