Born 1980 in Goldsboro, North Carolina, Carolina Black has always had a love for music. Inspired by his father's passion for singing, but driven to find his own voice, Carolina Black started rapping at age 12. For the first few years, rhyming was a hobby for Carolina Black, until he was incarcerated in 1996.
