Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Los Cardenales De Nuevo Leon primarily play norteño, but also include cumbia, bolero, and other dance styles featuring the accordian and the bajo sexto. Since 1987, their recordings have found commercial success in the US as well as Mexico.
