Captain Stu are a 5 piece band based in Cape Town, South Africa. Their sound is described as a mix of ska, funk, and reggae with pop influences. They focus on having fun and enjoying the music wherever they go. The band members comprise of James Klopper (guitar and vocals), Ryan McArthur (bass/ upright), Matt Willis (trombone/ keyboard), Jon Shaban (saxophone/guitar) and Ryk Otto (drums). Their songs are fun, catchy and always get a smile on people’s faces.
