Callooh! Callay! formed in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 2007. By its second album "Sassprilluh Champagne," the bands lineup had solidified with singer Adam Morrow, bassist Natalie Jensen, and drummer Bowen Robertson, Callooh! Callay! had become a venue for Morrow to explore the inner life of the South, centered around a four song interpretation of "The Sound and the Fury," William Faulkner's magnum opus. With another album forthcoming, Callooh! Callay! creates music as big and bright and dusty as the highways they travel.
