C.O.T.A. Concert History

Experimental, neo-Folk, electronic and industrial music genres have seen their fair share of underground bands, but few have been around as long as COTA. Originating in the pre-internet age, COTA unleashed a style of ritual-dance music that is enjoyed best under the canopy of stars next to a fire rather than serving as a soundtrack to mindless goth/industrial dancing. Focusing on environmentalism and mysticism, COTA departed from the typical martial Euro-centric cliques and gave the Californian landscape a voice and song that was long overdue.
