Bypassing Oblivion was formed in Sacramento in 2004 by James Cundiff and Matt Parra. Over the last 7+ years they have gone through 6 drummers and 5 female vocalists BUT the overall style remains with the current line up of this band... James Cundiff on guitar / vocals , Matt Parra on bass , Angel Wolpert on vocals , Perry "Woody" Buchholtz on drums and Tristan Wolpert on lead guitar. With the addition of T.C. on lead guitar the sound of Bypassing Oblivion has evolved into a little heavier of a punk rock / hard rock band.
