Butch vs Femme was a male female duo from Dixon California. Members Travis Cook and Kim Aparicio were best friends. Travis played keyboard, and accordion, and also provided vocals, with Kim on drums. They played a lot of local gigs in the Sacramento area before they broke up in 2008. Some of their influences were riot grrrl, Kathleen Hanna, Sleater-Kinney, and Sherry Fraser.
