The Band began in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2006. It Consists of Vocalist and Keyboardist Dylan Ellett, Guitarist Stefan Kallander, Drummer Daniel Allison and Bassist Nick McOwen. Bubonik Funk drew influence from pop bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Meters, Jimi Hendrix and Phish. Currently, Bubonik Funk plays venues in downtown Charlotte and universities along the East Coast. The foursome cut their first professional record, "OTB" E.
