Brutal Honesty was born from 4 members of False Alarm who were a punk band from Stockport, wanting to try a new direction and sound Brutal Honesty set about writing and recording new material taking a more hardcore approach. Early in 2006 they entered the Studio to record the “Shadows EP” which was recorded live and in one day. The EP was never sold as a hard copy and was uploaded to their Myspace page the same day.
