Brian Douglas Wilson (born June 20, 1942 in Inglewood, California) is an American singer-songwriter, producer, and musician, best known as one of the founding members of The Beach Boys. Once known for his iconic falsetto, much of Brian's most well-known work is tinged with melancholy and existentialism. He is also the father of Carnie and Wendy Wilson, members of Wilson Phillips, which released several hit singles in the early 1990s.
