Brian D'arcy James is an accomplished stage actor who has appeared in musicals such as The Sweet Smell of Success (Tony Award nomination), Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party (Off-Broadway), Titanic: The Musical, Something Rotten, and the Second Stage production of Next to Normal. He originated the title role of Shrek in the Broadway musical based on the popular animated film, as well as the role of King George in the off-Broadway production of Hamilton.
