Bongo Maffin's 2001 Concert History

Bongo Maffin are a South African trio consisting of Thandiswa (Red) Mazwai, Appleseed and Stoan. Both Thandiswa and Stoan are South African, Appleseed hails, originally, from Zimbabwe. The band was formed in 1996 as a " side project" by DJ Oscar and fuses kwaito with house music, reggae, dancehall, rap and contemporary R&B, creating a distinctly South African sound. One might even go as far as referring to them as the South African version of the "Fugees".
