Bleeding Kansas's 2002 Concert History

Formed in 2001, Bleeding Kansas hails from Burbank, CA, and comprises vocalist Ben March, guitarist Daniel Poulet, bassist Mike Wetzel, and drummer Jake Poulet. Inspired by the early-2000s convergence of hardcore, emo, screamo, and metal, the quartet recorded their first EP with the help of scene acquaintance Kurt Ballou (of Converge), then followed it with a full album, entitled Dead Under Decor, in 2006. Following up to 06's Dead Under Decor, came the split s/t 12" with Burbank natives, Cathedrals, on Melotov Records.
