"Besnyo began in some dark corner of Buffalo, NY in the fall of 2004 when former bandmates guitarist/songwriter Sean Mikula and drummer Don Lavis decided to work together again. Joined by bassist Bill Fulton and guitarist Steve Nikitas, the band was drawn together by a desire to make their music distinctly hypnotic and meditative.
