Ben Wilson's style takes influence from 60’s folk and rock ‘n’ roll and presents it on an old-time backdrop. His new album has an historic atmosphere but is driven with a lyrical content which is fresh, punchy and relevant to the current climate. Minimalist accompaniments (violin, bass, guitar) to Ben’s sentimental songs make for intimate, soul searching performances. Think Buddy Holly and Elliott Smith combined with Bruce Springteen’s Nebraska.
