The Bedroom Monkees are a indie rock band formed in Nijmegen, the Netherlands in 2009. The bandmembers are Jos Haagmans, Henk Wanders, Nels Busch and Peter van Benthum - all ex-members of the former Frank Boeijen Groep - ; singer Elke Peeters and singer/songwriter Bert Smeets. Their music is compiled in the singer/songwriter tradition of the sixties. By accentuating their music with styles and techniques from the eighties they create a modern melt-pot for a laid back listening experience.
