BEAKR is the concoction of Micah Smith. He's been mixing new and old musical elements for almost a decade. He is originally from Boise, ID but has just recently relocated his labs to Chicago where house music was first synthesized. BEAKR has an electronic house sound mixed with an electro-funk vibe and a dash of hip-hop. He is currently working on new remixes of rock, indie and hip-hop artists such as Lykke Li, Spoon, Hot Chip, Marky, Feist, Vampire Weekend and Matt & Kim.
